Lindsay and Will joined about 20 of their closest friends and family for their wedding weekend at the incredible Brush Creek Ranch in Wyoming. The only thing that didn't go as planned was the weather, which forced the ceremony inside. But the clouds cleared just in time to hop on a four wheeler and explore the hundreds of beautiful acres for their wedding portraits. Will and Lindsay were amazing, climbing huge boulders and hiking through dirt to get photos. Will and Lindsay, I hope you love the photos and think it was worth all the off-roading!
Meaghan and Brian were married at the beautiful Stonebrook Manor in Thornton. The day couldn't have been more beautiful, and it was one of those rare weddings where everything goes perfectly as planned. Meaghan and Brian, I hope the photos do your wedding justice!
Shortly after Lori and Nick moved to Fort Collins we headed into Old Town for an engagement shoot, and I was fortunate enough to recently photograph their wedding at St. Malo Church in Estes Park. After their ceremony we headed back into Fort Collins to Gravity 1020 (what could be more fitting for Fort Collins than a reception at a local brewery). Aside from a little motion sickness in the van heading up to Estes, the day couldn't have been any better.
Jessica and Bart were married at The Chapel at Beaver Creek and their reception was a the nearby Westin Riverfront. The day before their wedding a nasty storm closed the road to Beaver Creek, but by that night it passed, and they enjoyed beautiful blue skies for their wedding day. It was a perfect mountain wedding, I'm so glad I was asked to be a part of it. As always, click the thumbnail to the left to view their photos.
I was incredibly fortunate to photograph weddings in so many beautiful venues across Colorado in 2013. From Della Terra in Estes Park, The Tapestry House in LaPorte, Lionsgate Event Center in Lafayette, and The Chateaux at Fox Meadows in Broomfield, to name a few. I'm incredibly grateful to the dozens of fantastic couples who allowed me to be part of their wedding day, and I hope the photographs did their weddings justice. Before the 2014 wedding season gets gets too crazy, here are some of my favorites from 2013.
Amy and Matt were married at the Marriott Resort and Spa on Marco Island, Florida. The entire wedding weekend was absolutely beautiful. The only thing that didn't go quite as planned was the weather, with rain forcing the ceremony inside; but it cleared up just in time for us to head outside for portraits on the beach. Amy and Matt, thank you for letting me be part of your destination wedding, I hope the photos help you remember what an amazing weekend it was.
Shandace and Jake were married in Pueblo, Colorado on May 18th (I know, I'm way behind with my blog posts!). Their wedding day started with a ceremony at the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, then the party moved down the street to the Pueblo Union Depot, an awesome railroad depot-turned-event venue dating back to the 19th century. Shandace and Jake, thank you for letting me be part of your beautiful wedding, I hope the photos do the day justice.
Dani and Jason were married at Della Terra in Estes Park. Dani and Jason celebrated the perfect summer day with 125 of their closest friends and family. The day was beautiful, from the weather to the couple to the celebration that lasted well into the night. Dani and Jason, thank you for being so great to work with, and best of luck in the future!...click on the thumbnail to the left to view their photos.
Marie and Jerry were married on January 21 at Della Terra in Estes Park. It was a beautiful winter day in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado and the venue was adorned with stunning DIY decor. Marie and Jerry, I hope the photos do justice to your beautiful wedding and give you memories of the day for years to come....Click on the photo to the left to check out the photos
2013 is starting to ramp up, so before I get lost in editing this year's photos I wanted to show you the second batch of some of my favorite images from 2012. Click on the thumbnail to the left to have a look!
I was incredibly fortunate and honored to photograph more than two dozen weddings and engagement sessions in and beyond Colorado in 2012. Before 2013 gets crazy, I wanted to share some of my favorites from this past year. I want to thank all of the couples who let me be part of their wedding day in 2012. I truly hope I did your weddings justice and the photographs will be a reminder of your day for years to come...
Keri and John were married at the beautifully rustic Chief Hosa Lodge in Golden, CO. It was a perfect autumn day and Keri and John were a wedding photographer's dream clients: incredibly easy to work with, amazingly photogenic and obviously in love. Keri and John, I hope you're happy with the photos and they do justice to your beautiful wedding...As usual, click on the photo to the left to view the full gallery.
Stevie and Josh are still busy planning their wedding for 2013, but they decided to take a couple hours off from the craziness and meet me for an engagement photo session. We met in Fort Collins in early October and casually took photos while we walked around for a couple hours. The weather was awesome and we hit the turning of the leaves perfectly. Stevie and Josh, you were naturals in front of the camera, I hope you like the photos!
Kate and Jeff celebrated their wedding on a beautiful day in August at Taharaa Mountain Lodge in Estes Park, Colorado. One sign everyone had an amazing time at the wedding is that when the lights were turned on at the end of the night and everyone was still dancing, and probably could have stayed all night. Kate and Jeff, thank you so much for letting me part of your special day. I wish you the best of luck in Texas.
Lauren and Ryan were married at Highland Meadows Country Club in Windsor, CO. They had the type of wedding day every couple hopes for - perfect weather, a beautiful bride, and a party that could have lasted all night. Thank you both for letting me be part of your day...Click on the thumbnail to the left to view photos of the wedding.
